⌚ Core or 📡 Gateway — which one for this wearer?
AlvoTriX Core runs directly on a supported Android or Wear OS smartwatch (Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, Mobvoi TicWatch…).
Core reads the sensors made available to the application by the watch and performs certain time-critical checks locally.
Independent alert delivery is available only on specifically validated LTE models with an active mobile service, the necessary permissions, sufficient battery and cellular coverage.
On other Core-compatible watches, a paired phone or another configured connection may still be required for remote alert delivery.
AlvoTriX Gateway runs on a compatible Android phone (used with a fitness band, smart ring or simple BLE watch such as Xiaomi Mi Band, Amazfit, Huawei Band, Oura…).
Gateway receives supported health, activity or device data from a connected wearable through a validated integration, such as Health Connect, a supported manufacturer integration or direct Bluetooth communication.
The available data, update frequency and latency depend on the exact wearable, its companion application, Android version, permissions and connection method.
A Gateway-compatible device is not automatically suitable for time-critical protections such as fall detection or immediate SOS.
MyAlvoTriX is the Guardian account and dashboard used to configure Wearers, manage subscriptions, review alerts and reports, and receive account information. MyAlvoTriX is not the sensor-collection application and does not replace Core or Gateway.
Not sure? A band or ring → Gateway. A full Android smartwatch → Core. You can install both and choose per wearer.
